Policies and Waivers

To create a positive classroom experience for all

For parent participation classes, come ready to participate in class with your child! Minimize distractions as much as possible so that all adults and children can enjoy the class activities.  We ask that you keep cell phones put away during class time. Please do not bring toys, food or drinks into the classroom. Please do not attend class if you or your child is sick.

Payment Agreement

At the time of registration you will agree to pay tuition monthly at the beginning of the month.  In order to hold a place in class, we ask for a current credit card to be on file with your account. There are no refunds for missed classes but makeups may be scheduled, dependent on availability.  If you miss two weeks of class due to an extended illness, you will receive a credit for the second week.

You may place your account on hold for up to one month.

If your child is using charter school funds for payment, it is your responsibility to request and submit Purchase Orders with the correct monthly tuition amount.

Cancellations may be made by submitting a request through the Parent Portal or by emailing kate@itsmusictimeredlands.com.

Liability Agreement

At the time of registration you will be asked to sign an agreement that says you understand any activities at our studio may involve movement and dancing, handling musical instruments and equipment, and sharing indoor space with other children and adults, and you accept any risks that may come with such activities.

Parent Responsibility

Parents, grandparents or any adult caregiver over 18 will be responsible for their child throughout class time. More detailed information will be provided at registration about adult responsibilities for parent participation classes vs independent classes (for students 5 and up).

Advertising and Photography

It's Music Time occasionally takes photos or videos of our classes to use for promotional purposes.  At the time of registration you will be asked if you agree to have your child's likeness appear in these images. If you do not wish for photos of your child to be used, you may notify us.

Communication Agreement

At the time of registration you will have the opportunity to say whether or not you consent to receive text messages or email communication from It's Music Time. These messages may provide account updates, reminders, information about new class times, or event opportunities. Consenting to receive text messages and email is not required for registration.  Message and data rates may apply for text. You may opt out of text or email messages at any time.
